Legal requirement
Singapore's WSH (General Provisions) Regulations require the occupier to provide and keep clean enough suitable, lit toilets. The First-Aid Regulations require enough first-aid boxes and, where more than 25 people are employed, one trained first-aider per 100. MOM's heat stress measures require rest under shade and regular hydration, and from 1 December 2026 make cool drinking water near work areas and emergency cooling supplies mandatory.
