Legal requirement
Under Singapore's WSH (First-Aid) Regulations, every workplace needs enough first-aid boxes, including on each floor of a building. Each box is equipped, maintained, checked often, clearly marked, accessible and under a named person's charge. Where more than 25 people are employed, appoint one trained first-aider per 100 employees or part of 100 on every shift. First-aiders keep treatment records, and their names go on a notice in the workplace.
